Every time I wear this T-shirt around Oak Cliff — whether I’m waiting for a train at Tyler/Vernon Station, grabbing a taco on Davis, or walking to my barber on Jefferson — someone will stop me and ask where they can get one. For some reason, they lose a little enthusiasm when I say they can order one online from our blog.
This weekend, it will never be easier for Cliff dwellers to get one of their own. Our newspaper’s marketing team will be hocking them this weekend at Dash For The Beads on Saturday and the Mardi Gras parade in Bishop Arts on Sunday. They’re $20 flat and always in style. Not to mention that Valentine’s Day is just around the corner.
