Eat And Give Back This Month at Norma’s Cafe

I was never a Girl Scout. I was a proud Brownie Scout, but I dropped out when my mom decided to take over as troop leader (sorry mom). But I do love the Girl Scouts. In fact, I support them so much that I purchase one (or 12) boxes of Girl Scout cookies every year. Luckily for my sweet tooth (but not my waistline), there’s another way to help the Girl Scouts this month, and this time it involves pie.

Norma’s Cafe is donating a portion of proceeds to the Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas throughout the month of February. Swing by the West Davis staple every Tuesday from 5-8 p.m. and you can feel good knowing that your plate of fried chicken is helping a worthy cause.

Additionally, they’re giving a free slice of Mile High Cream Pie to any Girl Scout in uniform. Maybe it’s time to dig up my old Brownie vest…
