Kessler School Will Add Sixth Grade

Kessler School administrators informed us this morning that they will be expanding to serve sixth-graders for the 2013-14 school year.

“We are very pleased to make this announcement at this time just prior to the holiday break so that parents considering placement of their children for the 2013 calendar year have plenty of time to give us an opportunity to show them our product offering,” headmistress Alison Beazley said in a news release.

Beazley cited increased enrollment combined with a growing and thriving pre-K-through-third-grade program as reasons for the addition. More than 12 percent of  new students have enrolled from beyond the traditional North Oak Cliff neighborhood, and Beazley said that was an encouraging sign the school is building momentum.
