Wienermobile Pulls Into Jefferson Avenue Tonight
I know, I know. Very few of you folks probably frequent the Fiesta Mart on Jefferson Avenue as often as I do, but you should make an exception tonight. Oak Cliff People got word at the last minute this afternoon that the renowned automobile will be there from 5 to 8 p.m. The folks from Oscar Mayer will be handing out “wiener whistles,” which sounds like something cops would give kids in case they ever encounter a sex offender. Also peculiar: the promotion is somehow rolled into the store’s celebration of Las Posadas, a yuletide tradition in Latin America.
