Bike Lanes in The Works For Sylvan Avenue

The folks at Bike Friendly Oak Cliff have put out the call for attendance at a public meeting one week from today. At 6 p.m. on Dec. 10 at Salon Las Americas, a proposed restructuring of Sylvan Avenue between Kessler Parkway and Colorado Boulevard will be discussed. According to BFOC’s Jonathan Braddick, the proposal will take the six-lane road down to four vehicular lanes plus a buffered bike lane in each direction.
