- Groundbreaking ceremony for the Charles A. Sammons Trauma & Critical Care Tower at Methodist Dallas Medical Center
- Bishop Arts Theatre Jazz Series
- Go Oak Cliff events in Bishop Arts (Mardi Gras, Brew Riot, Bastille on Bishop, etc.)
Community Advocate of the Year
- Nakia Douglas

Also being honored that night as Public Servant of the Year will be City Councilman Scott Griggs.
