Rosemont Trip to Inauguration is a Bit Underfunded
An effort to raise money so Rosemont students can attend President Obama’s second inauguration is under way. The goal is $55,000. As of this morning, $668 has been raised. Yikes.
Update: I just got off the phone with Rosemont principal Anna Brining, who clarified a few things for me. First of all, the trip has been paid for already. The website I linked to is a parental effort to offset the school’s costs. Second of all, the goal is $25,000, not $55,000. That’s not quite as steep a hill to climb, but it is still a chunk of change. So keep the donations coming.
