Sunset’s Academic Decathletes Will go to Regionals
And they're photogenic, to boot.
Word from DISD: Sunset High School’s Academic Decathlon team did well enough at Saturday’s district meet — held at Adamson High School, for the record — to advance to regionals in January.
I’ve seen past study guides for this annual competition, and rest assured, they’re bigger than metro phonebooks. It’s an ordeal — one that costs hours (and hours) of a kid’s free time, week after week — so if you know any contenders in the photo above, send along our congrats. Their next big meet is Jan. 25 at Conrad High School.
