Little Girl Aims To “Heat the Homeless” With Bolsa’s Help. Donation Center Opens Today
One little girl from North Oak Cliff is going to change the world one step at a time. Ashton, an eight-year-old, asked her parents about a homeless man and wanted to make sure he was kept warm this winter.
Starting today, Ashton is collecting coats, blankets, gloves, sweaters, and socks through the end of the month. She approached Bolsa Mercado, and they will be the collecting station for all the goods. They are giving anyone who donates items a free cup of coffee.
They put the cutest message about Ashton’s initiative on their Facebook. Click the jump to see.
