‘Vulnerable Road Users’ = Cyclists, Right?

At 10:30 this morning, the City Council’s Quality of Life and Public Safety committees will jointly convene for a briefing on “vulnerable road users” from assistant police chief Tom Lawrence. That has to be bureaucrat-ese for cyclists, doesn’t it?

    Maybe if they start using “vulnerable road users” people won’t have the gutteral, hate-filled reaction they do when they hear “cyclists” and some progress can be made.
