Oak Cliff Girl Makes Good (Drinks)

This Sunday’s New York Times Magazine is supposed to include a story about female bartenders. So says proud mama Diana Pollak of Ravinia Heights. “OK, I know the Nobel Prizes are being announced this week,” Pollak told me via email. “But nobody is prettier, and deserves their 15 minutes of fame more, than my daughter, Lily, a bartender at Sidecar (Brooklyn, of course)!”
