The Kessler Pumpkin Patch and Street Fair will happen from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, rain or shine, on the grounds of Kessler Park United Methodist Church. There will be bounce houses, pony rides, a petting zoo, carnival games, and music by Floramay Holliday.
As part of Cyclesomatic, Bike Friendly Oak Cliff will host a Photo Velo Scavenger Hunt on Sunday afternoon. Cyclists should meet up at Ten Bells Tavern at 11:30 a.m., when they’ll be given a list of things to photograph in Oak Cliff. They’ll have until 4 o’clock to document them all.
The Kessler Theater will host Bob Schneider for two shows tonight, followed by Aaron Freeman on Saturday and Mindy Smith on Sunday. But there are other music options: Dillon Chevalier will perform at Bar Belmont tonight, and Larry Carlton will put on two shows this evening at the Bishop Arts Theatre Center. And an Eagles tribute band called Fast Lane will perform Saturday night at the Dallas Zoo.
Perhaps you just want to take in a movie? The Texas Theatre will screen Doctored, It’s Such a Beautiful Day, and the Hitchcock classic Vertigo this weekend.
