Tyler Street Homecoming is Another Stark Win
Well, if Tyler Street Christian’s six-man football team was worried about impressing alumni at Saturday’s homecoming game, they needn’t have been. School spokeswoman Amy Alburtis told me yesterday that the academy’s Crusaders beat Wichita Falls 30 to 6 — rain and mud and all.
The little private school on 9th Street (name notwithstanding) is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year as the church rings in its centennial. Snap up our Sept. 28 paper for the story of its beginnings.
