Imagine you’re a boozy barhopper at 2 a.m., stumbling through a smattering of food trucks parked along Greenville Avenue. You follow some mad beats to slick black food truck, which you hope has carnitas tacos. You finally reach the counter only to discover that you’re at a mobile boutique crammed with a D.J. booth and racks of hip T-shirts designed by local artists.
Welcome to Durty Laundry. Though this truck’s wares usually sell for only $10 a pop (I KNOW, what a bargain), Durty Laundry is hosting a sale this week from its old digs at 723 Fort Worth Ave., just near Sylvan Avenue and I-30. Between 6 to 8 p.m., you can walk away with TWO tees for only $15.
Another excuse to go: this place has been making the rounds across the region, from Denton to Austin. You never know when they’ll be back in the nabe. Check out their Facebook page for more details.
