What’s Cookin’ in The Cliff This Weekend?
Saturday is shaping up to be action-packed. The fun begins at the St. Cecilia Fall Festival, where a $1 raffle ticket may garner you four Rangers tickets, an iPad, or a $1,500 Visa gift card. Not a bad return on an investment of four quarters.
Bike Friendly Oak Cliff has an ambitious ride planned. It begins at the Oak Cliff Cultural Center, travels to various galleries in the Design District, and then culminates at Turner House, where the Oak Cliff Society of Fine Arts will be hosting a pARTy featuring work by 25 neighborhood artists.
Also on the art front, Mighty Fine Arts will host a reception for Bruce Lee. No, not that Bruce Lee.
Finally, the Kessler Theater will kick off the Oak Cliff Music Festival with a free show featuring several acts, including Jacob Metcalf, Luna Matto, and Ashley Myrick.
