Dallas Farmers Market Looking For Graffiti Artists

It’s a strange time to be a graffiti artist in Dallas.

The city has recently and implemented ways for those who do works illegally to have a legal outlet. Last month, Brad wrote about how a project at Greiner Middle School gives “taggers free walls in the city to use, provided they promise not to tag other walls.”

The Dallas Farmers Market Friends will host a project that gets street artists a chance to fill four temporary 8×8 walls at the Dallas Farmers Market. The winners not only get a wall with all your painting materials covered, a cash award of $1,000, under certain rules.*

If you are a street artist looking to get out of the shadows and into the limelight with your talents, you can download the application here. The deadline to apply is Sept. 21.
