Theft at The Texas Theatre May Leave Culprit Shamed
Yesterday, the Texas Theatre posted a message on their Facebook that someone stole their framed portrait of Robert Duvall as Gus McCrae from the movie “Lonesome Dove.”
Unfortunately for the thief, the theatre has video surveillance that identifies the culprit.
The theatre asks that the photo is returned, and no questions will be asked. But if it is not, they will soon start posting still shots from the video footage on their Facebook page, until the culprit is tagged and identified. Public humiliation at its best.
Melissa Elliott Blair on Facebook said it best: “Don’t mess with the Texas Theatre. It’s just wrong.”
