Price of Kidd Springs Renovation Rises
Buried in the consent agenda for tomorrow’s City Council meeting is Item 23, which asks the council to authorize a $139,671.52 increase in the contract for Speed Fab-Crete Corp. That’s the company responsible for the new doors, new marquee sign, new card-reader system, and other miscellaneous changes at Kidd Springs Recreation Center. This is the third change order for the project, bringing the total bill to $1,484,158.91. All of that money comes from 2006 bond funds.
