Pooches Take Over Bishop Arts

Iggy, being on her best behavior, eloquently requests a slice of her owner's oh-so-yum Eno's pizza. Did Iggy's owners Alejandro Cuadros or Lillian Giering give in? Only Iggy knows! PHOTO BY ALANA HARRISON

No doubt, these dogs’ days are far from over. Pups, pooches, hounds, terriers, and mutts combed the Bishop Arts District last night for July’s First Thursday fun. Dogs mingled with one another while their parents enjoyed cold beers and corny dogs. And every outdoor table at Eno’s was accompanied by a canine — most of whom were dying for a morsel of Eno’s delish pizza.

My husband and I brought our dog, Murhpy, who, um, was so excited upon arriving had an accident in the car. Husband was not too thrilled. But Murphy thoroughly enjoyed himself, meeting new friends — Eli, Grace Kelly, Lulu, Brodi, Snuffy, Cinderella, Gus, Layla, Zeus, Newhouse, Mr. Tyler, and Iggy — to name a few.

Murph hopes Dog Day comes around more often in the BAD, and so do we!
