It’s YOUR Dog’s Day in the BAD Tonight
Today is indeed First Thursday in the Bishop Arts District, and tonight’s revelries revolve around your pooches and pups. Not that Fido isn’t always welcome in the BAD, but tonight is officially his night with “Dog Days,” sponsored by the BAD Merchants Association.
There will be plenty of doggy treats on hand (not sure if any of those come will on a stick, though), splash pools (which, quite frankly, we’ll all be thankful for), and there will be pet adoptions at both Green Pet and Hunky’s. And there will be corny-dog stands for non-canines.
All hounds will be encouraged to mingle and get to know one another as fellow Oak Cliff neighbors, and hey, you might even meet a new friend, too.
Don’t miss the first-ever pet party in the BAD. The fun kicks off at 6 p.m. and goes to 9. We’ll be on the scene shooting pics for next week’s paper, so make sure you pup looks his most handsome!
