Norma’s Peddles (Almost) Free Food on Thursday

In honor of its 56th anniversary, Norma’s Cafe is doing its annual crazy-low-cost-meal rollback tomorrow, with chicken fried steak, chicken and dressing, and meatloaf plates going for just $1.79 apiece. Each meal comes with green beans, mashed potatoes, and bread — no substitutions.

You’ll find the goods (and the very long lines, I hear) at the regular Davis Street location and Norma’s northside counterpart, near the Tollway and Trinity Mils.
