Rosemont Kids Shine Again

Rosemont students perform tonight at 6:30 in the Rosemont Primary auditorium.

Those talented Rosemont kids are at it again! Last week, we wrote about one of the Rosemont Destination Imagination teams heading to the world tournament in Knoxville, TN., this May. This week (tonight, rather) you can be entertained by a group of charming second-, third-, fourth-, and fifth-graders as they present “Rosemont Renaissance: Parodies From Portable Ten.” The event begins at 6:30 p.m. and will take place in the Rosemont Primary auditorium.

This event celebrates the 20-year collaboration of Dallas Children’s Theater and Rosemont Schools. Children’s Theater artist-in-residence Karl Schaeffer and other theater artists have been working at Rosemont since 1992.

The onstage performers will be supported by the Rosemont choir and orchestra, an Rosemont musicians will provide sound effects. Faculty members will serve as the backstage and technical crew. It’s sure to be a great show!
