   Info for the hula-hoopers picture: The cute lady with the green hula hoop is Kris Nguyen. She is not a resident of Oak Cliff, but does live in the DFW area. I believe she at one point taught school in OC. The lady in the green shirt behind Kris is Alex Garcia who grew up and lives in Oak Cliff. The purple shoulder behind Alex is another lifer of Oak Cliff, Martha Trubey. I happen to be the blurry green and purple one in the background over Kris’s left shoulder. I do not live in Oak Cliff, now (East Dallas) but I did grow up in Oak Cliff and am a graduate of Adamson High School. (Go Leopards!) I hope that helps a little. We had a blast and everyone was already talking about next year. This year we had 21 hoopers, next year we hope to double that.

   The foxy lady up top is Holli Murray from Winnetka Heights. The “Make Love Not McMansions” is Winnetka Heights Mike Walker and the two on the scooter is Rob and Julie Giacobbe also from Winnetka Heights.

   YAY Oak Cliff!

   Foxy lady is Holli, “make love not mcmansion” hippie is me, and the couple on the scooter below me is Rob and Julie – all residents of Winnetka Heights
