48 Nights to Host ‘The 48th Night’

Back in February, I had the pleasure of attending the first dinner at 48 Nights. In case you’re unaware, 48 Nights is a guerrilla restaurant that benefits the Mass Care Task Force. Each week for 24 weeks, a different high-profile chef donated his talents to the cause. (When I was there, our meal was prepared by Marc Cassel of Park.)
I just received an e-mail soliciting patrons for the effort’s finale, a.k.a. “The 48th Night.” On Sept. 13, $250 will get you a seven-course meal with each course prepared by a different chef. Per the 48 Nights tradition, you’ll have to show up that night to find out who’s cooking.
